Sahi Rasa MBBR System wastewater treatments for Iraq and Kurdistan Region

Proposed Plan for a Comprehensive Wastewater Treatment Project in Iraq and Kurdistan Region by Sahi Rasa

Sahi Rasa Company, a leading expert in wastewater treatment in Iraq and the Kurdistan region, presents an innovative solution for residential projects ranging from 10 to 10,000-person populations in Erbil, Sulaymaniah, Zakho, Kalar, and more. Our proposed plan involves the implementation of a fully automatic central wastewater treatment plant utilizing the state-of-the-art Sahi Rasa MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor) method.

MBBR Technique

The MBBR method, an advanced wastewater treatment technology, enhances the efficiency of wastewater treatment by utilizing extensive aeration and activated sludge processes. Developed in the late 1980s by Professor Halward Edgard, the MBBR purification system has gained global recognition, with over 800 treatment plants in 50 countries by 2014. It has become particularly popular in the United States and Europe due to its cost-effectiveness, low installation and maintenance costs, and reduced space requirements compared to other biological methods.

Introduction:

Sahi Rasa offers a complete small-scale wastewater treatment package suitable for both industrial and sanitary wastewater. Our packages, available in various capacities from 1.5 cubic meters to 500 cubic meters per day, are designed with a focus on meeting environmental standards. The benefits of our wastewater treatment package include a 12-month warranty, 10 years of after-sales service, and lifetime technical support. Additionally, the package features anti-corrosion coating, ease and speed of installation, small dimensions, movability post-installation, minimal sludge production, low energy consumption, and compliance with EPA standards.

MBBR Process:

The MBBR process effectively combines biofilm and activated sludge processes, providing highly efficient wastewater treatment. It aids in the removal of BOD, nitrification, and denitrification of wastewater. Sahi Rasa MBBR systems consist of large water tanks housing wastewater and biofilm media carriers, promoting the growth of bacteria that break down wastewater elements.

Media:

Our packing media, used in conjunction with air injection into tanks, maintains suspension and provides a large surface area for microorganisms to adhere and grow. The specific surface area of these media varies from 350 to 1200 square meters per cubic meter, ensuring optimal performance in wastewater treatment.

Advantages:

Sahi Rasa MBBR wastewater treatment offers several advantages, including high resistance to organic load, toxic and hydraulic shock, minimal sludge production, expandable capacity, fewer operating and maintenance problems, reduced space requirements, and lower construction costs.
