TEHRAN – In a significant move towards expanding its pharmaceutical production capabilities, Sahi Rasa company recently held a meeting with the investment team from Sakartvelos Inovaciuri Soluciebi, a renowned Georgian company.
During the meeting, the potential of Sahi Rasa in the field of production line design, branding, and supply chain management was thoroughly examined.
Mr. Kharatishvil, the director of the Georgian company, proposed the production of a new generation of Betadine*, a widely used antiseptic, to Sahi Rasa.
* Betadine is a brand name for a topical antiseptic that contains the active ingredient povidone-iodine (PVP-I). It is used to treat or prevent infection in minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. Betadine is available in many different forms, such as a liquid, ointment, aerosol powder, cream, spray, swab, and soap.
The managers of both companies reached a mutual understanding to conduct preliminary studies for the monthly production of 250,000 bottles of this product. The value of investment in this project is estimated to reach one million dollars.
The project is slated to be implemented in the second half of 2024. This collaboration marks a significant step towards enhancing the pharmaceutical production capabilities of Sahi Rasa and further strengthens its position in the industry.
