With a specific gravity of 4.1–4.2 g/cm³ and BaSO₄ purity of 90%–95%, this barite powder is essential for increasing the density of drilling fluids in oil and gas exploration. It is also widely used as a filler in paints, rubber, and ceramics due to its chemical inertness and high refractive index.
