SR® 480 is a non-plasticized aqueous dispersion based on vinyl acetate and VeoVa (vinyl ester of versatic acid), stabilized with surfactants. This high-performance binder is specifically engineered for exterior paints, interior paints, textured coatings, and EIFS (External Insulation and Finish Systems). With a solids content of 50 ± 1%, viscosity of max. 1000 mPa·s (Brookfield LVT, Spindle 3, 60 rpm), pH of 7 ± 0.5, and a minimum film forming temperature of +14°C, it delivers clear, tough films with a Koenig hardness of 130 s and a calculated glass transition temperature of approximately -35°C. The product offers high durability, outstanding wash and scrub resistance, and low dirt pick-up.
