Iranian talc, also known as soapstone or talcum powder, is a hydrated magnesium silicate mineral with the chemical formula Mg₃Si₄O₁₀(OH)₂. This super bright grade offers whiteness up to 98% and is available in mesh sizes from 400 to 3500. It is widely used as a functional filler in paints, plastics, rubber, ceramics, cosmetics, and paper. Types include soapstone, acid-resistant talc, ultra-light talc, and super bright talc. The product is characterized by its softness (Mohs 1), chemical inertness, and excellent matting properties.
